"We seek to empower women to see themselves for who they really are – smart, strong, capable and compassionate leaders who truly can change the world, one woman at a time." ~Maria Shriver
Do you remember the synergy at the See Jane Do Passion into Action Women's Conference? The sold-out event hosted over 300 incredible women, keynote speakers and seventeen workshops. Now imagine 25,000 women coming together and ready to make a difference. Thousands of women will flock to The Women's Conference in Long Beach, CA October 25th and 26th, 2010 hosted by California First Lady Maria Shriver and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Maria Shriver has made incredible waves for women in California and through her guidance the Women's Conference has implemented empowerment programs such as WE Educate, WE Invest, WE Connect, WE Act, WE Inspire and WE Honor.
This year The Women's Conference encourages women that "it's time to take action, to experience the best and to be an architect of change." In addition to over 140 visionaries and guest speakers the conference will honor “Remarkable Women & Remarkable Legacies” one of which is Oprah Winfrey.
Other headliners include, Deepak Chopra, Paula Deen, Jane Fonda, Nicholas Kristof, Suze Orman, Robert Redford, Diane Sawyer, The Honorable Sandra Day O’Connor, Dr. Mehmet Oz, and many more. With a powerful lineup it's no surprise that the conference typically sells out in less than two hours. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010.
To get a better feel for the magnitude of this event and the women who will participate, the See Jane Do team traveled to our state's capitol to participate in A Day at the Museum hosted by Maria Shriver. Thousands of women attended while Ms. Shriver acknowledged the great service women are providing in California.
