    p.s. to my previous comment - I think it's excellent that our community's being exposed to TED, and I hope all will browse and watch or listen to some of the talks at http://www.ted.com/talks ("Riveting talks by remarkable people, free to the world")

    e.g. Neuroanatomist Jill Bolte Taylor's stroke of insight ( http://www.ted.com/talks/lang/eng/jill_bolte_taylor_s_powerful_stroke_of_insight.html ) - how she perceived and dealt with her own stroke; or "data rock star" Hans Rosling's talk and demo on third world development.
